philosophy:

The Physical World

The world in which we are now living is known as the physical or corporeal world, because all living beings here have a gross, corporeal or manifest form. The physical earth can be thought of as a vast stage where we ‘play our parts’ in the drama of life, in different bodily ‘costumes’. It can also be thought of as a field, where seeds of action are sown and fruits are reaped as experiences of happiness and sorrow. Here ‘time’, ‘space’, ‘history’ and ‘geography’ are important parameters of existence; here the laws of science apply. It is a world of expression and experience.

The Subtle World

Beyond the limits of the vast expanse of our solar system and distant galaxies there are regions of non-material light, unreachable by physical means and inaccessible to the physical senses. These realms can only be experienced through deep meditation and divine insight. The subtle world is an intermediate dimension of pure, positive luminous energy in which there is the experience of one’s subtle body of light and communication with other souls through pure spiritual thoughts and vibrations.

The Soul World

Beyond the physical realm of action and the subtle realm of pure thought lies an infinite, timeless dimension of complete stillness, silence and peace.  This is the realm of God/the Supreme Being/All That Is or whatever name you choose to call it,  Parent of all souls. It is the original home of all souls, where we once dwelt in a dormant, seminal state of total belongingness and bliss. Experiencing this ‘supreme region’ (Paramdham) of highest consciousness in meditation renews and recharges the soul, empowering it with the strength to play its part in the physical world with peace, equanimity and enlightened clarity.

Going Home

In  meditation, not only do I journey inward to experience my essential self; I also journey upward into higher consciousness, going beyond the awareness of the physical body and the physical world. With practice I am able to perceive and experience the dimension of pure soul consciousness, beyond sound, activity and thought. In this place or state of awareness I experience complete freedom, peace, rest and comfort, as if I’ve come home to a place where I truly belong and where I can simply be.

I use Reiki in meditation as well as a means of opening to and sharing this pure energy of healing love with clients during appointments and attunements. 

Although I've had a life-long interest in what might lie beyond this physical reality and had completed a crystal healing course which in turn led to much reading about spirituality and life after death,  it was only after the sudden death of my husband on New Year's Day, 1998 that all that I had come to believe in became real to me.  Prior to this it was just something I'd come across that I decided made sense and felt right - purely an intellectual concept. 

The bereavement resulted in a clearing of all the mental clutter that constitutes a barrier to clear vision and inner knowing.   Externally, there was proof of survival from reputable mediums and phenomena around my home.  Fascinating stuff its true, but even given all of this, I can only say I know because I became aware from deep within, of our indestructible and eternal nature, and from then on could see clearly the bigger picture,  that everything is perfect just as it is.  The peace, strength and sheer love and joy that comes with this inner knowing is within us all, and yet we do not see, preoccupied as we are with the physical reality that is all many of us will ever be aware of in this lifetime.

Every time I see or hear of someone losing a loved one I pray that they will move through their pain and beyond because this very pain is an opportunity to discover that there is more - so much more.  Unfortunately we tend to stick right there in the pain, unaware that beyond it there is joy.

Whilst many use Reiki as a healing modality, attracting clients with physical ailments, for me it much more an aid to personal spiritual development and awareness.   Reiki appointments will put you in the peaceful healing space - what results may or may not be evident to the gross physical senses, though most are aware that something is different that they may or may not be able to explain.  Reiki attunements will enable you to put yourself there and to share it with others.

My original website was posted in 2000 and for 3 years I treated and attuned people in Northampton where I lived at the time.

Now, in West Yorkshire I am offering Reiki again but the training will be a little different.   Still Usui Reiki, but without all the regurgitated stuff that you are supposed to teach.  You can find that out for yourself and believe what you want, make your own interpretation.  What you will get from me is the same Reiki energy;  all the man-made opinionated stuff about techniques, hand positions etc will be absent. You will receive all you need and at an affordable price.
